As a recipient of the World Demolition Award in 2011, 2013, 2016 he has been recognized as one of the best in the world in explosive demolition services.
Why Implosions?
“I’ve always worked with explosives, blasting rocks and making tunnels. When I had my first chance to implode a building, I felt that I had a lot to learn and to improve my technique. That was a completely dark scenario, where nobody wanted to help. Because of this, I went to several meetings around the world and started to talk with all kinds of demolition professionals, trying to obtain as much information as possible.
With all the information collected, I noticed that I had a great opportunity to become a real specialist in the art of imploding. And now, with more than 50 implosions made and zero accidents, I’m still excited with every new project that I have. It feels that every project is my first one, and that kind of feeling gives me the excitement and strength to expand the company into new markets.”
